DONT SPLASH Items Guide

Items split into three jobs: lure the hunter, stun for a crossing window, and recover teammates. Pebbles are free on-route if you pick up gray clusters; everything else flows through Equipment unlocks and coin refills.

Hotbar layout differs between PC number keys and touch THROW—muscle memory matters when panic splashes happen.

Core lure
Pebbles 1 pickup = 1 throw
Loud lure
Bottle 3 uses on unlock (public wiki)
Stun
Flare ~5s / 8s cooldown
Rescue
Rope Coin unlock or Robux pass

DONT SPLASH Item List

Use the table as a shopping list before long rooms. Confirm prices in Equipment—October 2026 public menus are snapshots, not live guarantees.

What Each Item Does

Pebbles

Default bait for short and medium gaps. Skipping upgrades (public wiki) increase splash count per stone—still one inventory pebble per throw.

  • Before rotating platforms and memory-style previews.
  • Between double valve holds when you cannot silence machinery.
  • To recover after clipping a tile edge into water.

Bottles

Use when you need one unmistakable splash far from your lane. Limited uses—treat as special ammo, not a pebble replacement.

Flares

Throw to hit the hunter when you must cross now. Follow with immediate movement—the stun window is short and repeats are blocked for eight seconds.

Rescue Rope and downed flow

Downed players press H to ask for help. Rescuers follow their prompt (E or G depending on UI). Rope extends reach for teammates farther from the platform.

  • Coin unlock listed at 250 coins with one use per room on public menus.
  • Robux pass option permanently unlocks reusable rope—compare before grinding coins.

How to Obtain and Use Items

Enter the Equipment circle in the lobby to equip, remove (REMOVE / X panel), and buy refills. Extra tool slots require Robux passes on public listings—plan hotbar before entering Hard.

  • Collect on-route pebbles even if you plan to buy refills—free stones save coins for upgrades.
  • Unlock bottles/flare/rope before buying dependent upgrades at UPGRADES.
  • Screenshot your loadout after patches—slot order may reset.

Item Limitations and Common Questions

Inventory caps and unlock prerequisites change with patches—count pebbles locally each session. Visible cluster size does not match inventory ticks.

  • Counting visible stones in a cluster instead of inventory ticks.
  • Throwing bait on your exit lane because the camera faces forward.
  • Spending last pebble before valve segment with no coin refill plan.
  • Using flare first pull when a cheap pebble splash would suffice.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do visible pebble piles match inventory count?

No—track inventory increases only.

Is there a carry limit?

Public guides mention practical inventory caps in footage. Count locally each session after updates.

Can I buy pebbles mid-run?

Refills are lobby Equipment purchases in public menus—not mid-banner shops.

Which item should I unlock first?

Pebbles need no unlock. Prioritize bottles or flare only after you consistently run out of baits on specific banners.
